Leading up to the wedding he was always available if there were questions and was fast to respond to voice mails. He was early to arrive arrive at our venue and was well prepared in setting up his equipment. You can tell that he is passionate about his job and genuinely enjoys being a part of your special day. My wife and I hired Matt Shew of Shew-sical Entertainment for our wedding at Stone Manor Country Club and in all honesty, we both feel he could have not done a better job!! He was an absolutely fantastic DJ and a really nice guy. Our wedding day was so memorable thanks to Shew-sical Entertainment Services. Matt made every minute of our reception fun! Everything we ask him to do he did to perfection. We were really impressed with how he stuck to our NO PLAY LIST, even when people requested the songs. He also was able to control a bridal party of 22 including 4 kids and get us out to the reception exactly how we wanted to be introduced. He made the best suggestions; we even used one that people still talk about today. We were extremely pleased with Shew-sical Entertainment for our wedding reception. Matt was extremely professional and flexible with our many requests. We had a hard time making final decisions on our song list (there were so many great songs to choose from) and he was patient and made good suggestions and allowed us to preview some of the songs that we were unsure of. We had many compliments on our DJ/music at our reception especially our announcement/entrance into our reception when he announced the bridal party. He played "Let's Get This Party Started" from Pink for my husband and I to enter to and that just set the stage for a great time. Our reception was elegant but we also wanted a fun atmosphere where people danced and had a great time and Shew-sical Entertainment delivered. Matt arrived to our reception early to set up and had input on the floor plan where he thought the best place was for him to be set up. He is great on the microphone and has a nice deep relaxing voice and was good at making the night's events flow. Matt was the DJ at our wedding and really helped make our night magical and memorable. He was very flexible and easy to work with and accommodated all of our special requests, including helping coordinate a song by the maid of honor during our ceremony. He used our song list as a guide, but had a great overall feel for what would get the guests on the dance floor and keep them dancing all night. The flow of the reception was perfect, thanks in part to Matt, as he announced the first dances, toasts, cake cutting, etc.  We have recommended Matt to many of our friends and would definitely use him again for future events.

The best wedding advice we can give you - hire Matt Shew to DJ your ceremony/reception! We were very happy to be able to give Matt minor direction and leave the details up to him. And we couldn't have made a better choice, we got at least 5 requests from guests for the play list from the reception - everyone from my conservative aunt to our young single friends! The ceremony music was flawlessly timed and everyone had a blast dancing at the reception. The best example I can think of is that my father, who does not dance, was inspired enough to spin my mom around the dance floor 5 times that night - a new record!
